Today we are going to review the Intel X25-M SATA 80 GB Solid State Drive as delivered to retail customers. The initial feel of this product is solid like most products we have seen from Intel, the fit and finish of the assembled device is inline with what you would expect from a company like Intel.

The device was a no brainer to install and configure and basically worked right out of the box. Installing Windows 7 onto this drive only took about 20 minutes from start to finish and bootup time from pushing the power button to desktop was right about 1 minute 45 seconds, which we found to be amazing.

If you are in the market for a replacement drive we woudl recommend this drive, giving it an overall rating of 4.2 of 5 stars.
